Inspire Greatness!

Okay, so I'm a little behind on my goal. I've sold 8 things and only made $67.23 in profit. That is $12.77 short of my $10 each goal. But I have every confidence that it will all equal out in the end. I have more items to sell on ebay and I have a lot more art to create!

As I said before, I wish I could take my art with me on my trips. I have loads of down time in my hotel rooms and it would be a great way to pass the time. Plus, I'd be less inclined to go out with my crewmates and spend money. Unfortunately, I already pack my suitcases full. I also like to have all my craft supplies surrounding me while I work. You never know when some tiny little trinket will inspire greatness!

I'll be back to work tonight after having a few days off to celebrate my boyfriend, Al's, birthday. It was great to have some time off. But that first day back to work each week is always the hardest. I'll be home again this coming weekend. We're having professional family photos taken and I can't wait. I know our family is a little unique... me, my boyfriend, his 17yr old son, and our dog, but I think the pictures will be fun. I found an amazing photographer here in Huntersville. He really thinks outside of the box. The photos will be taken outdoors and we get a costume change! Well, we'll be wearing one set of dressy clothes and then a more casual outfit. I hope they turn out well!

Okay, enough rambling. I have to get ready for my day job!

I wish I were creating! It's hard to make time. I really wish I could take my art with me. The life of a flight attendant. Forever stuck with kiddie scissors.

Techie me

Not only am I becoming technologically savvy, so is my Mom! She even has her own blog that I think everyone should check out! I have to get some tips from her as she has music on her blog! Okay, off to Costco. More blogging soon!
Just testing out this whole blogging from my phone thing. I can't believe how technologically savvy I'm becoming!

I'm doing it! Slowly, but surely!

So I am actually making money towards my goal to Sell 2000 Things for $10 each! I listed some items on ebay and sold them. I haven't done the math yet as I've been out flying all week. But it looks like I've made just over $60. I know it's not much, but I have to start somewhere. I also sold 8 things to get that $60, but I'm not giving up hope that everything will average out in the end.

I want to keep a list posted of everything I sell and for how much so I can see my progress. I think that'll help keep me encouraged. I can't believe I'm making money. It's pretty exciting!

Now I need to work on my art. I've just been flying so much that it's hard to create. I still keep a journal while flying. That way I'm able to brainstorm ideas. I just need to make sure when I am home that I devote some time to creating (and maybe less time watching reality shows on tv).

Okay, $60 down... only $19940 to go!
